★ Ugh

We’ve had The Flu around here. Shannon got it yesterday, I got something today. We cancelled a trip to Spokane to have an early Christmas with the Loughery clan, or I guess we pushed it back a week.

Things I learned today:
1. Fritos do not settle the stomach.
2. Uhh, I’m still waiting for #2.
3. Brennan Manning’s book – The Ragamuffin Gospel – starts out pretty well.
4. I miss riding my motorcycle. Even if it’s just a day.
5. It’s nice not to have “a real job”. Nobody to call in sick to.
6. A 15-month-old who’s teething doesn’t handle additional sickness well. Poor little girl woke up at 3AM last night with just horrifying cries. Baby Tylenol rocks. It’s heartbreaking hearing somebody – anybody – cry that way. It’s REALLY bad when it’s a little toddler. The Problem of Pain, indeed. Did CS Lewis ever have a teething toddler?
