My friend and coworker Chris went into the ER this weekend with what he thought was a kidney stone.  After a CAT scan, he was told that there was a growth on his kidney that is likely cancer.  He goes in for surgery the day after tomorrow to remove the growth, one kidney, and some nearby lymph nodes that are swollen.  Chris and his family have started a blog to keep us all apprised of the situation.  It’s called Mutant Kidney.
