We’ve been referring to this one a lot lately. I love this quote!

[The incarnational church] does not create sanctified spaces into which unbelievers must come to encounter the gospel. Rather, the missional church disassembles itself and seeps into the cracks and crevices of a society in order to be Christ to those who don’t yet know him.

    I think that in context, the “must come” part is important. Do we require that people must come into the church’s cultural context before they hear the Gospel, or do we embody the gospel “out there”? That seems to be the main point.
