Luggage

It is with great relief that I can announce that this morning, some 36 hours after our flight arrived in Seattle, our luggage landed at our doorstep. Woo hoo.

We had been thinking about what we would do if this stuff was lost. We don’t have expensive clothes and stuff like that, but there’s a lot of stuff in there that would be hard to replace – power cables for various gadgets, my mouthguard that had to be custom-fitted, Shannon’s makeup, some of Kaileigh’s favorite books, etc.

It’s kind of like having your wallet stolen – even if there’s no cash in there and you get the debit cards and stuff shut off, it’s a huge hassle.

Thanks to God, we avoided that scenario.

Glad you made it home. Our luggage didn’t arrive with us in LA a couple of years ago. It went to Las Vegas. After little response from the luggage people, I emailed the president of the airline. Our luggage was delivered to our Daughters in San Pedro that very afternoon. FREE.
