Are any of our outreach projects going to work? Actually benefit people? Actually catch their interest if they’re seeking faith? Fan the embers of curiosity?

Why didn’t we pick a cool ethereal name for the church, like Quest, or Mosaic, or Apostle’s Church, or Imago Dei. Hmm.

How do I balance God’s sovereignty – he’ll grow this church the way and the speed and the style He wants to – with my responsibility to work my tail off representing Christ to my friends and acquaintances?

Can we pay the bills this month?

Am I boring the socks off our loyal members? Will they just shoot me in the head the next time I say “the whole point of the Gospel is unbroken relationship with God and with each other”?

[EDIT] I’m not sure how I forgot my friends’ church plant, Baylight. If you live in the San Jose area, go check them. And tell the worship leader that he sounds too much like John Mayer to be a REAL Christian. 🙂
