My friend and high-school classmate Ron Sanders has recently launched a blog with a friend of his, and I’d like to refer you to that blog.  Ron and Reggie Williams are Ph. D. students at Fuller Seminary studying Christian Ethics.  They’re getting close to being done, and they’re headlong into doing literature reviews in their field.  On this blog, they’re summarizing 70 books that they’ve read in the field of Christian Ethics.  I highly recommend that you follow along if you have any interest in the field.

70 Books in 70 Days.

Here’s Ron’s own description of the site, for more info:

Here’s a little better description of this group: Reggie Williams and I are taking our comprehensive exams in August for our PhD in Ethics at Fuller Seminary. Over the next 70 days we will be studying 70 books (at least). We are going to post 5, one page summaries of the books that we are reading and studying each week. We are going to post them on a makeshift blog-site: http://ronsanders.wordpress.com. Anyone is welcome to come and read the summaries and if you want to comment on them we would love that as well. I’m sure that any questions or comments that you have would help us clarify our own thinking. My hope is that these posts will be a resource/interesting to you and to make an isolating event (studying for comps) into a pseudo-communal event.

I’m enjoying their summaries (and also deeply grateful that my own doctoral work doesn’t include comprehensive exams, just a ministry project).
