Long time no blog. I’m done with the Orthodox Trail class and am now hanging out in a hostel in Athens, exploring the city a bit. I return home on Monday.
I’ll write more about the class in the coming days, but for now I’m recuperating, resting and just plain ol’ slowing down. Part of this is necessary due to the fact that on the first day of the trip – on the way to the airport in Seattle, actually – I slipped, twisted my ankle and fractured my fibia. I’ve been wearing a knee-high walking boot for two and a half weeks now, and my foot is pretty much stiff, sore and in pain all the time.
However, I’ve seen and experienced amazing things on this trip. It will take a while to process through it all, but I’ll write as I get more energy for it.
Thanks for your ongoing prayers, and keep them coming!
