Today we got our final itinerary for the upcoming BGU class, The Orthodox Trail.

Not knowing my way around Turkey and Romania, I thought it would be fun to map the trip. Here’s a Google Map of the places that we’ll be staying. (The course isn’t going to Athens, but I’m flying out via Athens after a few days to explore the city after our class is done). We’re staying in these places:

Turkey

  • Istanbul
  • Capacodia ÜRGÜP
  • Pamukkale
  • Kusadasi

Romania

  • Bucuresti (Bucharest)
  • Sibiu
  • Iasi
  • Neamt Monastery
  • Bucharest again

I’ll be writing daily journals for my class paper, and will post them here on the blog either during or after the class.  I’ll also be posting photos to my flickr stream so you can follow along there.
