I just put down tuition deposit for my upcoming class with Bakke U:  Following the Celtic Trail.  It’s a week-long class visiting and learning at these locations:

Belfast

Armagh, where Patrick established the principle Irish church.

Downpatrick, where Patrick is buried and with a well known visitor’s centre

Luss,  home of St. Kessog/Kessock, patron saint of Scotland (before Andrew)

Oban, distillers of a fine whisky

The Holy Island of Iona,  pigrimage site, monastery site of St. Columba

Callendar

Visits with the people of Scottish Churches House

Edinburgh

Holy Island of Lindisfarne home of St Aidan and St Cuthbert; learn from Ray Simpson.

I absolutely cannot wait.  This promises to be the trip of a lifetime.
