I took this image this morning, driving back home from the trip to Mt. Angel Abbey. It struck me deeply – as the former pastor of Mt. Si Vineyard Church – that this vineyard is fully dormant and appears dead.

Spring will come.

I seek a path through the dead vines, and a destination on the horizon.
