I recently ran into another very interesting social software. Called LibaryThing, it allows you to catalog your books, tag them like you can in flickr, del.icio.us and elsewhere, and then explore the social aspect – viewing other users who share books in common with you. It’s very simple to add books.

I’ve put a few of my books online here, and I’m enjoying the social aspect quite well. It turned me on to Steve McCoy @ Reformissionary, who has a fantastic blog. I’ll probably continue to update my library.

Pat, I’ve e-mailed the LibraryThing developer to ask him about using it on my book site. If you have any ideas regarding application please e-mail me. This looks like it could fit really well with my model.
