★ Three thumbs up for Crash

I was doing some work around the house today and finally got to pop in the Crash DVD.

Crash (Widescreen Edition)

I’m quite late coming to this one (one of the hazards of being the parent of a small child), but if there are any other stragglers out there who haven’t seen this movie yet, I can’t recommend it highly enough. It’s absolutely fantastic.

It’s one of the best character dramas I’ve ever seen. There are no black and white heroes and villains; everyone has problems. It’s a phenomenal story of racial relations. It’s a stunning cast, and has stunning acting (though for me, Matt Dillon and Don Cheadle steal the show).

I’m definitely watching this one again, several times over.
