One of the great thrills of leadership in God’s Kingdom is that sometimes, it’s undeniably clear what God is asking of you. Tonight, I strongly guided to expand a bit on the next sermon//discussion series (which was to be a brief look at 1 Corinthians 11-14, focusing on the charismatic gifts), and delve for a while into the person, character and presence of the Holy Spirit. I’m also to focus my initial preparation on studying via Gordon Fee’s book, Paul, the Spirit, and the People of God, which I picked up at the Vineyard national conference in Columbus and haven’t gotten to yet.

Should be quite an adventure. I’m thrilled and excited.

++God, bless us with what you have to bless us with.++
