I’m highly impressed by the excellent blog Jesus Creed by Scott McKnight. Right now, there are three ongoing series underway: One on biblical translation; one on the missional Jesus; and one reviewing Doug Pagitt’s new book, Preaching Reimagined.

All three are helpful series, and important topics (to my mind, at least).

The review of Doug’s book just started, and makes some good points right out of the box. I suspect that our church does its preaching task in a very similar way to what Doug is proposing, so this review is incredibly helpful to our situation.
