Full day today. At our worship gathering, we’ll celebrate communion (today I’ll use the liturgy from the Book of Common Prayer). Then we’ll preview for the church where we’re feeling led in mission/vision/values. I might just post the ppts here. The sermon//discussion is incarnation: incarnational god; incarnational church.
The song rolling through my mind as I awoke was the humn, “fix your eyes upon Jesus; look full in his wonderful face…”, which was sung at the funeral I attended on Friday night. (which I’ll blog about later)…
After the gatheirng, we get to have lunch with our previous worhsip leaders and their family. should be awesome. Then we go see hadley caliman play jazz from 3-7, then back home here to have BBQ’d steaks with Lee from the motel and his family.
Please forgive me for not blogging more lately – the last week has been like this. Busy, but with good fun stuff.
