I just heard from my friend Eric that Dr. Stan Grenz passed away. The text on Stan’s website says this:

Stan Grenz passed away early in the morning March 12, 2005 24 hours after suffering a massive brain hemhorage.

I was very honored to learn from him in his written work and at Emergent Convention 2005, and his presence at Mars Hill Grad School was a very attractive feature to me.
