I got into town for the Emergent Convention 2005 after experiencing America West airlines tonight. Interesting stuff.

The hotel campus is huge. Gotta be 5+ acres, dozens of buildings. My room was probably an old TravelLodge or something. I was bummed out until I found that they do, indeed, have wireless internet (B style) for $9.95/month. There’s a little pub thing on campus next to my room that’s got pool tables, a bigscreen TV always turned to ESPN, and burgers. Three choices of beer (I mean real beer, not the crap with corn in it). I think I’ll survive this.
