★ Back, reflections

I’m back from the trip to Idaho for Garndpa’s memorial service. The memorial service went well, and I didn’t drop any f-bombs during the eulogy (an ongpoing fear :-)). I think that what I said helped and made people think, which was good. I hope that it pointed people to Christ.

My grandma is having a really rough time with the transition, as you would expect for somebody who was married for 63 years, and has never lived on her own. She’ll spend a few more days wrapping up some details at home with my uncle, then fly back to the San Francisco area to stay with my uncle and aunt for a couple of weeks. Please keep them all in prayer.

Back to regular blogging tomorrow, probably. I learned more things about what the emerging church means this weekend, and hopefully I’ll be able to delineate what I’m thinking.
