I wrote last week that I had visited my grandfather. Just got a call that his health is failing, and the hospice care workers believe that he’ll slip into eternity today or tomorrow at the latest.

Grandpa turned 90 last Sunday, but has been in declining health for several years now with Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s syndrome.

Please pray for us as a family, that we will sense the presence of God in this process. And please keep me in prayer specifically, as I have the honor of preaching at my grandpa’s memorial service. I want it to be a holy moment.
