I’ve been wondering, praying, pondering the sermon that I will initiate this weekend in our christmas gathering. It has to short, crisp, clear, interactive, kid-friendly and lead well into the brunch that we’ll do directly after.
I just woke up from a dream, and I feel like God just outlined it for me.
Read the Luke 2 story
Jesus came to initiate the Kingdom, proclaiming and demonstrating it.
Proclamation and demonstration of the Kingdom brought then, as it does now, hope, peace, joy and love.
All of these are experienced fully in relationship with God and with others in fellowship
Needs work, but that’s the tack I’ll take.
