Single Daisy

Last night I began a 4-week time of seeking intensive healing prayer. I’ve felt a need lately for a “fill-up”, and I’ve previously greatly benefitted from putting myself into the Lord’s hands and his trustworthy prayor’s hands as well.

Field of Daisies

Sparing the intimate details of the evening, one of the takeaways from last night involved around imagery that God was showing me about a single daisy and then fields of daisies. I believe the pictures he placed into my mind have multiple layers of meanings, but one of them revolved around the hopes and dreams that I have for our church. Again, one of the prayer team said that she felt the Lord was trying to tell me that his plans for us are far greater than I have dared to think.

It always makes me cautious when somebody shares that type of thought – usually what I do is write it in my journal, ask the Lord to take it and separate the truth from the hope. There’s really nothing I can do about it anyway – it’s His job more than mine. But sometimes (when it comes from somebody I trust and know wouldn’t say it just to make me feel good), it really hits home.

++ Lord, let it be. Make it happen in your ways, in your plans. Allow me to dream and hope beyond my wildest imagination. ++
