We gave away about 4 cases of water bottles today in 45 minutes. The service project was very well received, and our team had a great time.

Our only problem was, the other 10 cases of water bottles disappeared from their storage place. I hadn’t marked them as “ours”, and there are several users of the building that we rent. Any of them could presumably have moved them to someplace else that we haven’t found, or chosen to take them home, or ???.

I’m not too concerned about losing the water, or the $40 or so we paid for those cases. But I’m terribly disappointed at the lost opportunity in meeting another 360 people or so this weekend.

Hopefully these things turn up tomorrow and we can go out and give a bunch more away. Unfortunatly this week we can’t afford to go buy more.
