Wrapup part 1

The best thing about a conference like this one is the time to talk with old friends, and to meet new people. Some that you only know through email, or somebody else mentioning them.

The worst thing is that there’s not enough time – literally, you could spend 24 hrs a day and not catch up with all the folks you hope to. The really worst thing that can happen is to sleep through half a day with a migraine. I did get to all of the keynotes – with Bert Waggonner, a couple with Brennan Manning, and then a wrapup with Dave Pardee. Good time, and God certainly was here.

It was also awesome to worship in a big church setting again – there’s such a difference in flavor, style, celebration between 20 people and 300 or 400 (or however many there were in attendance).

I’ll write more tomorrow, or maybe Monday. I’ve got to figure out some details on tomorrow’s sermon.
