★ Grace Begins in the Garage

I’m reading a lot about grace lately. (Henry Nouwen, Brennan Manning, …). I get to spend some time with Manning next week. In the past I’ve frankly never made it through Ragamuffin Gospel. This time it’s hitting home a lot more.

I particularly liked today’s post from one of my favorite bloggers, Eric Keck:

few weeks ago i was in albertsons grocery prayin about what kind of beer to get for poker.

I think I need to move to Boise. Though if I ever make it by for a poker nite, I hope there’s Guinness in the fridge.

Seriously, Eric is doing a great thing here – his home group is a gathering of neighbors to meet in his garage and play poker and talk about hotrods. Missional, incarnational Christianity.
