We have a member of our group who I absolutely love to hang out with. I blogged briefly about this dynamic before, here.

Yesterday she told us more of the trauma that’s happening in her life, in her friends’ lives, in her family. Truly overwhelming stuff, gut wrenching, horrifying. But the glorious thing was to see her reaction – she’s turning to God for help. She’s telling her friends and family that this is the only way out. That God DOES bring peace.

We got to pray with her, to ask the Spirit to refill her, to heal her, to touch her. To give her wisdom for herself and others.

I LOVE seeing God work in this way. The process of discipleship continues onward, and Christ is gaining ground.
