When the new Vineyard CD/DVD ‘Dwell’ came out, we began using the concert video that’s on the DVD portion as a sort of background music every now and then. This could be due to the fact that my receiver/amp has blown up, and my only music now is dvd into the tv, which is just not fun.

Anyway, we’ve noticed a very interesting phenomenon. When that DVD starts, my little one (now almost 17 months old) stands in front of the TV, sings, with her arms in the air, swaying. I’m fully convinced that she knows what worship is.

We also notice something similar when we’re in the car, driving. If we’re listening to “secular” radio or CD, she just enjoys it. The moment we pop in a worship album, she’s doing the same thing. Her attitude is different. It just amazes me how she can distinguish like this.

I think these little ones have a lot to teach us about connecting with the Creator.
