I’ve got this comment rummaging around in my brain, that came from an interview I did with a local pastor.

“What are you doing to reach the unchurched? Are you just hanging out your sign and waiting for them to come?”

And I tell you, it’s really kicking my a. if you need that filled in, think “approach”.

Today I’m going to find the sherriff I see at the local starbucks a lot, who seems to be a leader, and ask him two questions:

“Who are the most needy in our community”
“What can we do to help?”

I don’t mean giving more donations to our local food bank, which is excellent. I mean what can we do to be Jesus with skin on, among the people that don’t get help.

God help us.
