★ Red Curry Redemption

Last night we had dinner with our good friends and former worship leaders. I put my culinary skills to the test by getting a few packages of pre-made Thai seasoning and made a red curry shrimp dish, a seasoned baked chicken and a coconut jasmine rice dish. It was good stuff. Got everybody sweatin’.

It was the first time we’ve really gotten to sit down with these friends since in a couple of months. In October, they were going through some pretty intense personal struggles and asked to step down from leading worship with us. We’ve spent a lot of time in prayer, partly together, mostly apart. But we’ve been hearing that things are going well. We haven’t been able to get together with them for a while, with the holidays and stuff.

It was great being able to catch up last night, to hear what God’s been doing in restoration for them! It was truly miraculous stuff. It continued to remind us that if we just hand Jesus our struggles, he’s able to accomplish way, way more than we ever dare hope for.
